‘Winding Lane’ is the story of an under-achieving local police Detective and drug addict named Jack Cook. Whilst on a drive through the countryside, Jack, along with his driven and success-chasing partner Phil Rhodes, hears loud screams coming from nearby woods. As they investigate and go deeper into the woods, they come across several dead bodies and a murder in progress involving an enigmatic killer, referred to only as The Farmer, and the victim, a young girl named Beth. Jack, after saving Beth from her execution and being split up from his partner, must help both himself and Beth by kicking his addiction, escaping the woods, and the immediate danger of the Farmer. |
