The story is on how by the misuse of ancient beliefs and customs, cheats and anti-national, international crooks cheat gullible un-educated people. It starts with the police raiding an ancient haunted palace which is looked after by a gardener and his daughter Tara (Yogita Bali). Vinod Mehra is trying to unearth the purpose behind making the house haunted, as he suspects that it is being used for anti national activities. Bindu plays an investigating officer and the theme song “Aaja Reh” ,sung by the ghost rings a bell on criminal activities being perpetrated in the name of religion and marriages.
