In Contention (2012)

The honeypot brings the return of an unwelcome face (James Alexander) to the neighborhood when Joseph Bugno (Collin Murray) wins the lottery. Aric brings news that a childhood friend of the brothers was recently murdered, and pleads to his more fortunate brother for understanding and forgiveness. Joseph assumes his step brother is up to something and the whole situation goes sour when Aric is caught by some very dangerous people that he hoped he wouldn’t run into. ‘In Contention’ is a quick look into the minds of the lucky, the passionate and the desperate.
