The Gift (2015)

On January 12th, 2010, a devastating earthquake hit Haiti… Back in Toronto, Anne, a Haitian artist and teacher, watches the news footage of her ravaged homeland. When she learns that her fiancée Daniel, a respected lawyer, has been rescued, she is relieved; but that relief is short-lived… It is reported that Daniel has lost both his leg and his family - a wife and a son she did not know anything about!
