A period piece set in 1989, takes place in the dimly lit office of a failing answering service, where Alex is working the night shift alone. She begins receiving calls from Richard , a disturbed individual, obsessed with leaving messages for a daytime television actress. The intensity escalates to Richard threatening Alex’s life. Based on ‘All Night Operator’ from the feature film ‘After Midnight’ written by Jim and Ken Wheat. |
