The film directer, Wei Jiao, wants to express the culture shock he had right after he came to the U.S. As an international student, he always felt something was strange, but couldn’t speak it out. Maybe because of different languages or cultures, he wants to share his strange feelings in a visual way. A few while later, he got inspired by a girl he met on a bus. She said she could communicate with the city through her drawing. If the girl can do that why could not Jiao break the boundary? So Jiao tried to use art to communicate with other people, and finally got a response. |
