After the death of his mother, Darryl, a grieving nineteen year old has a surprise visit from his father, Lloyd, who hasn’t seen Darryl in fifteen years. After an emotional and revealing exchange about how their painful years apart affected them, they realize that in order to fully understand themselves they need to get to know each other. They agree that they can’t change the past but shouldn’t pass up the chance to work on their future together as family. |
