Behind every athlete, successful or not, is a line of coaches; those who sacrifice time with their family to guide their team for months. We all hear about the professional coaches who are delivered great athletes and make millions, but what about the ones who can’t pick their players and make little to no money? High school coaches not only strive to win, but deal with hormonal teenagers and also sometimes hostile parents. They don’t do it for money. They won’t be on ESPN. So why do they do it? What’s their story? ‘Hey, Coach: The Sideline Story’ gives four varsity coaches the platform to finally tell it. |
