Based on a true story. Dutch Winny goes to Tunisia to work with under-privileged children and meets charming Tunisian Nizar. They’re soulmates at first sight and get married. It isn’t long before Winny is pregnant, but then the Arab Spring breaks out. When chaos and lawlessness increase, Winny proposes they leave for The Netherlands. Nizar’s visa gets withdrawn, so he decides to Europe illegally to be at the birth of his son. An epic journey begins. |
