Inspired by the exhibition’s title, “Down Through The Needle’s Eye”, I began to imagine the making of a video piece that would take the form of a kind of minor reflection, before a line of thought was at hand to guide this exploration, as it is moved to become acquainted with a very local time. And this, through glimpses and traces of a history before us, which would include fragments gleaned from walking around the area (and simply looking, and filming, what is there — on a number of occasions), interwoven with fragments that emerge through conversations taking place with people whose lives open onto this history in various ways. A preliminary measure (far from explanation). An invitation, if anything at all. |

Lulusbay : Yeah... none of the magic from the first movie, all felt very contrived. Made me sad too....
