A lonely, agoraphobic man (fear or being outdoors) named Stuart Wysman is desperate for romance. As a last resort, he joins a program offered by a women’s penitentiary that sets him up with a prisoner pen pal. It seems perfect: Stuart can develop a love life without ever having to leave his home. Stuart chooses a prisoner pen pal and sets out to write the perfect letter. He goes about his day, brainstorming conversation topics and funny anecdotes until he has finally completed a masterpiece. But one thing still stands between Stuart and the mailbox: his agoraphobia. Stuart must decide whether or not he will allow his romance-crippling disorder continue to control his life. |
