Miranda (14), a young rebellious teenage girl has to take care of her mother Grace (45) who is diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s disease. A year ago, after the death of her father and younger brother, the progression of Grace’s mental decline reinforced tragically. Miranda struggles to find her own identity at this crucial age while she has to witness her mother’s loss of identity. Reluctant and unable to cope with the situation at home, she finds distraction by getting into trouble with Tessa (17), who has a major bad influence on her. She suborns Miranda to steal clothes, to skip school and to do drugs instead of fulfilling her obligations. When Grace finds out about Miranda’s bad actions, their relationship is endangered once more…
