The story of Gary Shand who is a middle aged comedian who is trying to make it BIG despite his fight against depression,alcohol dependency,schizophrenia and a manager called Al Moran who doesn’t rate him. The film follows his passage and hopefully highlights how fickle the world of celebrity is and how a comedian will take to the stage even at his lowest ebb.A Black comedy that is our first feature project and that has had people laughing in a few test venues.A collaboration between writer/comedian/actor Glen Maney and Producer/writer John Robson, the co-directed the project.We believe it has a wide appeal and a potentially wide market. |
