Contest-winning aspiring filmmakers were given a modest budget to make their first film in exchange for being documented by a video crew who would turn the inevitably-heightened on-set drama and hilarity into a reality-TV show. With production on their film “Redlight” failing due to mismanagement of funds (and an utter lack of talent), these so-called filmmakers go to great lengths to disguise their shortcomings from the documentarians, whose featurette is the only salvageable material for the studio. |
