Murder to Excellence is an inspirational documentary, which uses the lives of three black professionals (Grace Ononiwu - Chief Crown Prosecutor - East of England, Nii Ayikwei Parkes - writer/ performance poet and Dr Ola Orekunrin - Founder of Flying Doctors Nigeria) to encourage and motivate young black people, by giving them the self belief and awareness that they can become more than just sports icons and musicians, which is often the common stereotype represented. The film also features guest appearances from David Lammy (Labour MP for Tottenham), Sir William Atkinson (Executive head teacher, Phoenix High school) and Eliza Joy (A published 6 year old writer). |
