Tauro Tauro was inspired by a Greek myth about King Minos, who received a beautiful white bull from the sea that he was supposed to sacrifice to Poseidon. The myth continues and describes the origin of the Minotaur. The protagonist of Tauro Tauro is, however, a common bull from Minos’ herd. The animation plays with themes of gender, duality, fate and the zodiac. The stop motion animation was shot in the Auto-Photo Canada warehouse in Montreal. It’s comprised of over 550 photobooth pictures. |
