The MINITRANSAT is a solo sailboat race, across the Atlantic Ocean, France to Brazil, 4200 miles. It is a grueling challenge sailed in boats 21 ft. long and 10 ft. wide, fabricated entirely of carbon fiber. The men and women who compete for one of the 90 spots on the starting line come from 40 countries and all walks of life. These sailors will risk everything to win the MINITRANSAT. We follow the AMERICAN entry,Clay Burkhalter, as he sails to win - alone! |
