Zainab a 16 years old local farm girl gets caught up in the bloodcurdling madness of the Sierra Leone civil war, in West Africa. She is abducted from her rural town by armed rebels, most of them her age. She and other hostages go through harrowing experiences. She is robbed of her hands and innocence, but she miraculously survives despite her heart almost saying goodbye to everything she knew. |
