Details:

A life-sized replica of the H.M.S. Bounty was built in Lunenberg, Nova Scotia for use in filming the movie, Mutiny on the Bounty (1962). The ship is making a tour of the Pacific northwest cities of Vancouver, Victoria, Seattle and San Francisco to promote the movie. The stop in Seattle is in conjunction with the World’s Fair. Wherever the ship goes, it is greeted with much fanfare, from the platoon of official and unofficial water craft accompanying the ship into the harbor, to the list of local dignitaries attending the official ceremonies, to the throngs of fans who are lining up to take a tour of the vessel.
