Townsville, Queensland, where it’s hot in Christmas. If talent and skill is all you need to become famous in Rock N Roll, GEORGE and TERRY had neither, but a chance meeting with long retired JOHN JAUNCEY, who in the 60s shared the stage with the Beatles, might change their life. John still possesses an old, damaged Reel to Reel recorder containing a rare recording of the Beatles warming up. George decides to secretly sell the recordings to a collector. They repair the old reel to reel, only to discover that the tape is empty. Pretending to share his passion to Rock, the two musicians convince John to write five ‘authentic’ Beatles era songs to pass on as Beatles lost treasure. |
