A dark comedy about an ornery, retired veterinarian named Doc who is asked by his nursing home attendant, Calvin, to diagnose a dog that was hit by a car and left roadside to die. Upon arriving on the scene, though, it soon becomes clear to Doc that the dog’s life isn’t the only one that needs saving. |
