On his way home from work, Neville stops at a stranger’s apartment to purchase a clock he saw on an online classified. The seller, a nice guy named Ray, invites Neville upstairs to see the clock. Neville steps alone into Ray’s guest room, finding the clock as the centerpiece of a strange altar. Without warning, the door to the room shuts, and the outside world goes dark. Neville is locked inside a nightmare, where the rules of logic, time and space change at will. From outside the room, Ray reveals himself to be Neville’s captor, as well as his only tether to the real world. Clinging to sanity, Neville plays along with Ray’s sadistic games, hoping to decipher his motives and find a way to escape. However, as the hours slip by with no end in sight, Neville becomes aware that he might not be alone in the room after all… and that whatever is in there with him might be far worse than Ray. |
