Denice, a young African American college student aspiring to be a novelist; meets Effien, an up and coming African music artist. Fresh to America, Effien is eager to become a top artist. They come from very different cultural backgrounds which cultivates an unfamiliar magnetic connection. Friends’ thoughts and negative generalizations of race turn out to be a distraction. Watch as this story unfolds when two people raised in different parts of the world overcome societies stereotypical views. |
