This documentation has been accompanying the development of the stage play The Snow queen for 9 months. It pursues the destinies of the director, the stage builder, the musicians, of the workshops and the actors. Thereby the viewer witnesses all the doubts and disappointments you never would have guessed behind the artists radiant stage smile. In remarkable openness the artists talk about the pressure to perform, superstition and their dreams. Who knows the perfection of the theater will be surprised at the creative chaos the plays arise out of and at the grandiose ideas which turn out to be disappointments making everybodys nerves raw. The theater shows itself behind the scenes and the hidden facets of its world. |
