A small classical music school in the heart of troubled Port au Prince, Haiti, thrives in the shadows of decades of political turmoil and natural disasters. When a catastrophic earthquake completely destroys the school in January, 2010, a stunned and devastated faculty and student body pick up the pieces and find a way to adapt through the power of music. Astonishing devotion to each other and to the possibilities that the future still holds for them are expressed in the footage of children rehearsing amid the rubble and the mysterious power of music to inspire and uplift. |
