An international group travel to Thailand and go behind the scenes at a Thai trekking park. They uncover the awful conditions that the elephants are kept in and the cruel way in which the elephants are trained. They also reveal how riding on the heavy seat on the back of the elephant crushes its spine. So first they learn the correct way to ride on an elephant and then lead a group of trekkers as they rescue an elephant and embark on a journey to release the elephant into the freedom of a sanctuary near the Burmese border. |
