This travelogue goes from Rome to Cortina (in the Dolomites), on to Portofino and the Riviera, to Sardinia, and then to Venice. The film gives attention to art, vistas, food, contemporary culture (dance, nightclubs, and beach scenes), and to romantic settings. Both stars of “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” are in Italy making movies: David McCallum, who’s in Cortina to make a film, pops up from time to time, and in Venice, we see Robert Vaughn on the set of a spy picture. |
