On the streets she’s Maria, sharing strangers’ beds in an effort to fund a new life. In the classroom she’s Louise, trying to further her education in an effort to escape her old life. It’s a fresh start that brings with it a friendship with the quiet and lonely Sarah. Louise has someone to confide in and Sarah gains the confidence to stand up to school bully Amy. Louise’s new life is not without challenges but it looks as though everything will work out - until a familiar face from Maria’s world walks in to teach the class… |
