Stella Kirby once left her family behind to fulfill her dream: to become an actress. That never worked out, so she worked a hairstylist and takes care of an older woman, Sibylle Sandmann. Shortly before her death, Sibylle Sandmann gives Stella Kirby a golden pocket watch with one message: it will give her all the luck of the world, when she finds the perfect mate. But nothing happens. So Stella decides to go home and after almost 10 years, the reactions to her return are different. Her mother is dead, her little brother and her father welcome her.
