Princess explores the mind of Lucy, a 6 year old girl, as she uses a series of flashbacks to help visualise a bedtime story her mother Kate reads to her at night. However what should be a fairytale ends up revealing a dark reality which both Kate and Lucy are living in and must do anything to escape. This film explores the serious topics of abuse and entrapment and tries to show the consequences of this, not just through the eyes of the victim but through the eyes of the child witness as well. Abuse doesn’t just affect the victims but can affect all involved.
