Cane Cutter is the story of Roo and Barney. Best mates growing up in small Australian coastal town in 1970. The two share everything with each other, footy, surfing, beer. But when Roo’s attention turns to Barney’s younger sister, Pearl, Barney’s admiration for his mate starts to fade. However when Barney’s life comes crashing down, Roo must take matters into his own hands and go to lengths that only a real mate can. A story of friendship and loyalties, and of fighting the battles that are yours to fight. |
