Inspired by the Soviet avant-garde phase of Russian constructivism, this music film is based on the song ‘Autumn’, composed by Vadim Kozin in 1939. Recorded and filmed over the span of three months, the music film reevaluates the era of Soviet utopia in the light of Kozin’s diary entries of 1955-56, and examines the singer’s own psychological states of mind in the midst of chaos, depression and totalitarianism. |
