After enjoying the rural nightlife while passing through on a hunting trip, inebriated friends Gustav and Jerry exit a small roadside pub, hop into Jerry’s beat-up Jeep and unwisely take to the highway. Gustav reluctantly helms the wheel as they weave along the dark, deserted road. The Jeep approaches a straight stretch where a Female Hitchhiker walks alone along the shoulder. A drunken dare inspires Gustav to veer over and give the Hitchhiker a little scare, when all goes horribly wrong and he suddenly steers right into her—projecting her body into a nearby ditch. The panicked men pull over and hurry to the woman’s aid. Miraculously, she’s still alive… Desperate, they take the Hitchhiker back to their nearby motel room until they can figure out what to do. There, the situation suddenly goes from bad to worse, as the Hitchhiker’s condition rapidly deteriorates. Gustav and Jerry serve only to waste precious time by arguing their moral dilemma, when they soon discover that the Hitchhiker possesses a horrific secret.
