The genius is he made a ton of $ off stupid humor, the dumber the better. Sandler’s humor is either loved or hated…like Ferrell, Farley or Meyers. They all have something unique to offer but invoke the same response in different people. Although they make it look so easy, what they do is a craft and not all of their movies are going to be on point. Surprisingly, I’ve heard many actors say, horror and comedy are the most difficult for them because making terrified look real and making funny look natural is hard to master…your either funny or your not. I’m a Sandler fan but I agree this wasn’t his best.
Excellent points, thank you your discussion is correct
awful, after all these years still incredibly unfunny
to find out maybe i was wrong but the makeup /special effects script acting has not improved in 20 yrs, gave it a shot, tried to enjoy it but meh terrible terrible movie. also watched happy gilmore and waterboy, those were HILARIOUS
