Roy Male, a famous writer, finds himself in the middle of the night on a lonely road, lying in front of his car. Telling himself that he should not drink so much, he has a fantastic idea for his new novel: A man relives his own death over and over again. He records his thoughts and starts driving. Male has only driven a few meters when he sees a hitchhiker. A young woman who says that she knows him. Suddenly the cars engine dies. That is just the beginning of a series of strange events.
