A housewife’s perfect life in a posh gated community outside Cairo is shattered when she learns that her husband took a second wife in a society that tolerated polygamy. Desperate and confused, she sees a fortune teller who comforts her by predicting that the husband will not be able to meet his new wife inn the weekend as planned because he will fall ill. When the day comes, the husband is as healthy as ever but the fortune teller’s predictions drive the wife’s actions. She will simply make sure her husband knows that her being on of his two wives is not an option. |
