A film about a fate of a German fencer Helena Mayer, who won a gold medal in 1928 Olympics in Amsterdam when she was 17 years old. With Jewish father and Christian mother she was considered Jewish when Nazis came to power, however was invited by them to participate in 1936 Berlin Olympic Games.
