Though recently employed as an editor at an established weekly news publication, Orrison does not contest being kicked around the office by his seniors on menial and sundry tasks. Today, he is more than happy to take a visitor for lunch and spend some time outside. Yet his guest proves to be an awkward companion. Orrison discovers that beneath Trimble’s distant and ambiguous bearing lies a dark history. Trimble’s recounting of this experience causes Orrison to reevaluate his own circumstances. |
