Disillusioned, and disgusted by the ways of the world, the pampered eighteen-year-old temptress, Stefania, ends up in a squalid Athenian reformatory for women. There, behind the grim institution’s impenetrable walls, beautiful Stefania has all the time in the world to plan her escape; however, a chance encounter with the young physician, Dr Daponte, will pave the way for an unexpected change of plans, and an unforeseen romantic complication. Now, for the first time in a long while, Stefania has found purpose in her rudderless life, and her beguiling allure is no longer the means to achieve happiness. But, as a timid relationship starts to bloom against the backdrop of abuse and methodical dehumanisation, someone has set his sights on destroying Stefania. Can there be redemption for the sinners?
