‘Dare to take a Journey into your soul, find your own way, it’s the right way ‘ Pipaluk K. Jorgensen Tulugaq ‘Raven’ and Oqarit inuullutillu ‘say it and live’ are two plays, one Greenlandic Amateur theater group toured with in 2011, in Ontario Canada. - During the tour Najattaajaraq Joelsen carried a heavy mask, she had been carrying around for 8 years. Throughout the play, it suddenly became clear that this mask was part of her, but that it was important to remove the layers for her to be free. Najattaajaraq took a journey into her soul, and found her way to throw her mask. |
