A boy confined to a wheelchair, dreams of being able to fly like his childhood hero, the Greek wing-footed god Hermes. His dreams, however, always turn to nightmares. Years of vicariously living through random people that he watches pass outside his beach-side home, finally push him over the edge of his patience. He decides to leave the security of his home, and ventures out by the water. This is where his imaginary world beckons to him and he decides to finally live his dream of flying, the only way he can, towards his first-ever and final moments of true freedom. |
