QUEENS DREAM is a site- specific dance for film at Niki de St. Phalle’s Queen Califia’s Magical Circle. Groups of dancers in black are reflected in the mirrors of the maze that guards the entrance to the site. Portholes and archways open to hidden worlds. Trance, ritual and repetition combine in a magical world invoking our unconscious dreams. |
