Two documentary filmmakers travel cross country to the the American west in search of answers to an important question, “What does America mean to you?” In their travels they pose this question to a variety of Americans they meet along the way, from a self-made Chinese immigrant to a Harley-Davidson biker turned born-again Christian. However, when their trip coincides with a tragic event in American history: the attack on the World Trade Center on September eleventh, this question takes on a whole new meaning. In their attempt to tell “the truest and least commercially-driven story possible,” the filmmakers look for, and find, answers about America. |
