Amped is a short documentary that chronicles the experiences of young musicians participating in the Camp Amped program at Nuci’s Space in Athens, Georgia. For the past four years, Nuci’s Space has held a rock’n roll camp for young musicians ages 12-17. Camp Amped teaches its participants skills necessary for any performing musician (practice techniques, performance skills, and guidelines for making it in the music industry), all the while stressing the importance of positive mental health and self-esteem to a musician’s lifestyle.
