An exploration into the lives of young adults who wish to bypass traditional careers and lifestyles in order to pursue a sense of self fulfillment. Unlike radicals of the 60s and 70s hippie movement, these young men and women are interested in following their true passions regardless of what societal pressures surround them, but do not wish to revolutionize society. Motivated by the recent recession, increasingly competitive school and work environments, and by the ever fleeting American Dream, these characters’ choices are reflective of an emerging right brained generation that is becoming more prevalent than ever before. |
