In 1964 Neshoba County, Mississippi; a civil rights leader is assassinated leaving a widow and two young boys. The widow marries years later and have a daughter. The boys grow up through the tough racial times, driven by anger while dealing by the loss of their father. One brother goes astray as the other goes into law enforcement. Nearly two decades pass as their little sister is haunted by unfortunate incident that happens in her past, which causes her to resent one of her brothers. She embarks on her own a mission through a tough road while following the footsteps of one of her brothers. The cross roads will soon come for the siblings to face reality, a sudden end or a misguided solution.
