Dillon, Michael, David, Ronnie and Spencer are band mates feeling lost and hazy in their home town of Venice Beach, California. They eagerly jump on, what feels like, a once in a lifetime chance to play at a concert venue in Paris. Michael’s sister Camille and her best friend Veronica are art students living in the city. When they all meet up, they undergo a search for meaning while wandering around the historic monuments and exploring the inspirational environment. Dillon and Camille’s romantic relationship from the previous year comes back to haunt them, while Michael and Veronica finally reveal their hidden feelings. Disaster strikes when a unforeseeable attack blindsides them and interrupts their narratives. Their self-exploration screeches to a halt with the death of one of the band members. The weight of mortality falls heavy on them - leaving to question, what is this human need to create and find meaning?
