Experimental video that through editing the directors work asks the question: is painting poetry? This work is a homage to Leonardo Da Vinci and a contemporary contextualization of his work, treatise of painting, written between 1490 and 1517. The term Ut Pictura Poesis had its origing traced to the greek philosopher Horacio (Sec. I a.d.), and it was part of an intellectual effort to understand the relation between painting and poetry. One of the key points of the video is to show the link between painting during that period and the concept Look that we so often use now a days. It also makes the connection to its place in society, as one of the most noble human practices.
