based on Clive barker stories, here it mixes like many of his stories horror
with fetishistic eroticism akin to many of his other films ( hellraiser, nightbreed, candyman ) at its core this is a haunted house movie about obsession and sexual urges blinding persons to slow degradation and self imposed hell, some nice visuals and good acting but does not compare to other films based on his writing.
