David a 16-year-old kid who is best defined as being the least cool kid in the cool group of kids arrives at a classic pink stucco retirement home to spend a week visiting his elderly grandmother Syl. David awkwardly introduces himself to the naturally more outgoing Clara at the pool. She hasn’t seen anyone below the age of forty in six days and is happy to have him there. A natural bond soon forms as she shows him around the pink and white walls of the complex. |
